After the flowers are purchased and checked for quality, they are prepared for shipment to go on transport.

For cut flowers to the Far East, the flowers are packed in our Airfreight department. Here, the fragile products will be packed appropriately and with great care for transport.

Sustainability policy Royal FloraHolland

Vooren is a tenant of offices and processing areas of Royal FloraHolland at the Flower Auction Complex Aalsmeer, De Kwakel. We have conformed to Royal FloraHolland's sustainability policy. This reveals itself, among other things, in waste separation, where various streams of waste must be presented to the auction for processing. In addition, information carriers and packaging are recycled and we encourage the use of recycled materials.

Complementing the common sustainability programme, we have installed our own paper and cardboard press on a rental basis. Furthermore, we try to waste as little energy as possible.

Maintenance contracts on the cold stores, among others, are carried out punctually and the use of light, heating and water is monitored.
